4 Classes, 2 hours per class

You choose your frequency- once a week, every two weeks or once a month.


Class goals:

This class is perfect for beginners with no previous sewing experience. Students will learn how to operate a sewing machine while creating fun, customized projects at their own pace. Along the way, they’ll explore their creativity, tackle individual projects, and learn to troubleshoot sewing challenges in a supportive, hands-on environment.

Sewing encourages patience, independence, fine motor skills, and confidence. Through hands-on experimentation, students learn to think creatively, solve problems, and develop practical skills they can use for years to come. It’s where imagination meets education!

Skills we focus on:

  • sketching your idea
  • choosing fabric
  • sewing with the straight stitch and overlock machine
  • problem solving in a creative way
  • pressing and finish projects


What to bring:

Supplies are NOT included.

Please bring your own supplies based on your project needs.

Additionally, supplies will be available for purchase at the studio.

Students are welcome to bring a water bottle and snack.


Class size:

Up to 6 students per class.


Class Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy:

All class bookings are non-refundable. If you need to cancel, please email at least 48 hours before your scheduled class to request a reschedule. Rescheduling is subject to availability in an upcoming workshop.

No-shows are non-refundable. If you miss a class, please email, and Katy will do her best to place you in the next available workshop, based on availability.

Class Bundles: All class bundles expire one year from the date of purchase. You can schedule your sessions at a pace that works for you, whether that’s weekly, every two weeks, or once a month, until all sessions have been used. All sessions must be completed before the one-year expiration date.
